What is Floodzone?

The idea comes from John 7:38, "Whoever believes in me as scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." As a Student Minister I challenged the students to think of ways on a daily basis that they can "flood" their world. As believers we should want to show the world what we are about. I like the image of a flood. Yes, there are many pictures of devastating floods and even The Great Flood of Noah fame, but for this instance think the Nile, or the Mississippi. Each of these rivers flood on an annual basis. What is left in the wake of these floods? Fertile soil, lush vegetation, ... Life! What can you do to make a difference? Go out and Flood your world today!

In my new position I have also adopted Acts 1:8 as the focal verse for our church. "And you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Let us continue to strive to flood our world in each of these four areas.
