On our way to South Dakota!

We headed out this afternoon for what we hope will be a slightly less epic journey than last year to reach our destination. We are spending the night in Atlanta near the airport. Our team of seven (Joy, Chip, and Chiles Fiske, Mickie Blackburn, James Lyles, Andy Jones and Nan Shaefer, not pictured, will be joining us at the airport tomorrow morning) are looking forward to a week of rekindling old friendships and forming new ones.

We are going back to Bridger, South Dakota on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. Our hosts,  Byron and Toni Buffalo, are Lakota. Our hope is that we can find ways for FBC to be good strategic partners for them. I hope you find this series of blogs interesting, perhaps even encouraging and inspiring! Pray for us as we travel tomorrow.

Don't forget to also pray for our students as they are on mission in Texas this week.  You can find out more about their adventure on Facebook at First Baptist Augusta's FB page or the student ministry FB page as well.
